It seems most Koi enthusiasts on the K.O.I. site agree that the hobby should have written, public standards – which of course – it doesn’t!  You don’t suppose that’s one of the reasons that showing Koi appeals to so few hobbyists?  Imagine a dog show or horse show, where noone could read the standards that the breeds were being judged on – well – that’s the way it is in the Koi world – today…  Hopefully, we’ll see that change in the near future!  Stay tuned to Koi Organisation International to learn more about changes in our hobby!
