A koi wrap on a bus was designed by a middle school student who was inspired by koi at the local zoo; now this art is on show for whole community to see.  Congratulations to these young artists
 

Our hobby of koi keeping began several centuries ago in Japan, and in this country, there is a different way of looking at the evolving seasons. Okay, besides being a bit on the wacky side, I consider this animal abuse! However, apparently they take good care of their finned friends.

Yes, and we have all seen koi in cramped tanks, too small of ponds without adequate filtration and oxygen.  Another reason Koi Organization International (K.O.I.) exists.  
 
K.O.I. is an international group of expert hobbyist-volunteers who want to promote FUN in the Koi hobby by teaching all aspects of Koi and pond keeping, with a focus on Science.
